This one is a short one-off special that was packaged with Doctor Who Magazine, about the length of a Short Trip. As stories go, it’s pretty basic: A couple of aliens have landed in Italy, 1982, during the World Cup celebrations. They’re planning to invade, and setting up a portal to bring through more of their people. Fortunately, they’re both dim and unimaginative, so the Doctor and Charley are able to bluff them by pretending to be important Time Lord observers. About the only thing of significance in the story is that Charley learns a bit more about Time Lords, which will be useful later.
