The Keys of Baker Street

The ending of the Stranded story happens here, for reasons that will become clear later. The Doctor decides that they’ve been going about things all wrong, and all he needs to do is give Robin’s Dad a little nudge, and then they won’t move to Baker Street, Robin will never meet the Doctor, and problem solved. (Setting aside the fact that this plan would be totally against the rules in a non-paradoxical universe.) Except giving a little nudge is harder than it seems, and they end up erasing Robin from existence, which destroys the pocket universe they’re standing in, except for the Baker Street house. Oops. There’s a good bit of back and forth about the nature of interference, and when it’s best not to, and things get worked out in various people’s relationships. There’s still plenty of peril, but it ends up being kinda small and mundane, which is entirely in keeping with this series. But that’s not the end of the trouble.
