Another fairly high concept, as the Doctor and Lucie run across an abandoned space station, full of robots that have become self-aware and turned to cannibalizing each other for parts. Which is kinda creepy, and provides lots of opportunities for running away, but the scary mood is undercut by most of the actors doing goofy caricatured voices for the robots. And the rather doofy cover. The vocal effect on the robots is somewhat annoying to listen to for long periods, and unfortunately there’s a bunch of exposition. This is another story where the pacing feels a bit off, because as soon as they figure out what’s going on, it ends. There’s a happy-ending coda, though, so clearly this adventure is meant to be on the light side.
