This is one of those trippy alternate realities where everybody has amnesia at first and has to slowly figure out what’s going on. However, there’s also rather a lot of proper upper-class behavior, which I can really take or leave, so this story doesn’t do a lot for me until the sci-fi part actually gets going. Hannah departs in this one, and I’m not overly upset about that. She seemed to grow as a person in her travels, but ultimately stuck to the same worldview she started out with, which isn’t great for a companion.
