This story is intended to deepen Nyssa’s character, and for the most part it succeeds. It establishes Nyssa’s minor psychic abilities, which came up a few times on TV, but were never really explored, and used more often on audio. It also gives us a look into Traken’s past, and Nyssa doesn’t necessarily like what she sees. It’s a decent story from this early era.
