The second bit of the Stockbridge trilogy is set in the present, which gives an opportunity to incorporate comics character Maxwell Edison into Big Finish, which goes fairly well. It’s a fairly strong time-paradox story, with enough strange imagery to be worthy of the modern series, although the “big bad” reveal feels slightly off.
