Going by release order, this is the first Nyssa story from Big Finish. Unfortunately, like a lot of the very early stories, it’s not very good at all. It’s set in Alaska, which means characters with dodgy “American” accents, and Native mysticism handled rather poorly. Doctor Who doesn’t usually do well when they try to bring in mysticism respectfully, and the psuedo-science story behind it this time doesn’t hold up particularly well.
