This story was released immediately after “Waters of Amsterdam,” but a lot has happened chronologically in between. This story does the best job we’ve seen in a while of displaying Tegan’s general crossness mixed with her devotion to her friends and determination to see things through. There’s also a decent time-travel plot with a good level of scientific plausibility. And the ship’s robot butler is fantastic.
