This story is a chunk of the Big Finish anniversary box set "The Legacy of Time," and probably best listened to as part of that set. The stunt for this story is reuniting the Doctor with Jenny, the first time she’s encountered him since “The Doctor’s Daughter,” so there’s lots of explaining to do. And of course there’s a meta-stunt because Georgia Tennant is Peter Davison’s daughter. It goes more or less as you’d expect, with the Doctor trying to distance himself from Jenny at first, and later coming to like and appreciate her. The “father-daughter driving lesson” is probably the most obvious aspect, and yet they pull it off. Of course, it can’t last, and the Doctor can’t remember it, but you know that going in. The gimmick works, and that’s all you can ask for.
