Interestingly, while the last Main Range story with this crew was a prequel to “Talons,” this one is a sequel to “The Hand of Fear,” and also written by Marc Platt. You don’t need to know as much about the earlier story this time, though. Turlough gets most of the spotlight this time, once again having difficulty with mind control and crystals, but as the Doctor points out, all of them have been susceptible to mind control at one time or another. I hope you don’t mind hearing the title, because the characters say it rather a lot.
