This is a Turlough-focused story, which I don’t like nearly as much, unfortunately. A lot of the story hinges on Turlough’s backstory, including a romance which just doesn’t come off very convincingly. Admittedly, most of the characters are lying to one another at most points in the story, but Turlough just seems annoyed about the whole thing.
