This one is just plain heart-wrenching, as it mostly resolves the “Nyssa out of time” plotline that’s been percolating for years. The strongest parts come when Nyssa is dealing with her family, and fortunately, the trope of keeping various secrets from various people for the sake of preserving the timeline all gets dealt with and shoved aside fairly early on. Sarah Sutton really gets to play up the anguish here. Unfortunately, the story of the Doctor’s other TARDIS doesn’t fit as well with everything else going on, and seems to resolve awkwardly. The very end will break your heart, and I think I might have preferred it if Nyssa’s story had resolved here, instead of going onward.
