This is a three-parter, and frankly it’s somewhat forgettable. The TARDIS lands on a planet where the plants cause unconsiousness and vivid hallucinations. Peri and Erimem succumb, but the Doctor finds a scientific expedition that is, of course, looking to exploit the plants for military purposes. All three of the expedition members are unscrupulous in their own way, and they all end up dead, rather stupidly. The focus is more on Peri and Erimem’s dreams: Erimem dreams she’s ruling a futuristic Egyptian space colony, and Peri gets a domestic soap opera. Once again, it plays into the idea of Erimem wanting to leave, and frankly doesn’t say much about Peri. It feels kind of abrupt, but I’m not sure what could have been added to make it longer.
