This is a special release from 2006, where the gimmick is supposed to be that it features Peri and Erimem, and Ace and Hex, in the same story simultaneously, but they don’t interact. Obviously, you’re meant to listen to the whole thing together, but in the spirit of this project, I only listened to the first half, with Peri and Erimem. They mostly don’t know what’s going on, only that they’re at a fancy Monte Carlo party in the 60s, they want to prevent a diamond from being stolen, and from their perspective, they succeed. The two of them seem quite friendly, more so than the last few stories, and they’re enjoying themselves quite a bit. The Fifth and Seventh Doctors aren’t in this story, but we’re told they met and had a discussion. I guess I’ll find out what that was about when I get to that part of the project...in a few years.
