Big Finish’s anthology release for 2016, these stories are different in tone to the others in this section. Turlough still has a “long suffering” attitude, but he seems more at ease traveling with the Doctor, who legitimately seems to be trying to take Turlough somewhere he’ll enjoy, or at least enjoy sketching. Most of the stories have a theme of identity, with characters needing other people to know who they are, or not understanding who they themselves are. “Repeat Offender” is my favorite from this set, because there’s some Moffat-style timey-wimey involved, and a police officer who actually listens to the Doctor...eventually. “The Becoming” has good voice acting, but a plot twist that the Doctor really should have figured out long before he does.
