This story was part of the first set of Companion Chronicles after they went to the box set format, and I think they were trying to stretch the format somewhat, without a lot of success. Vicki spends all of this story talking with an A.I., being characteristically flippant and overly sure of herself. The other actor plays all sorts of secondary characters who interact with the Doctor, Ian, and Barbara...all of whom are entirely silent, which just comes off as odd. The story itself is a puzzle, which gradually unwinds as it goes, which means Vicki does a lot of exposition toward the end, but it’s a decent puzzle, so it’s worth it.
