Placed here because Barbara thinks it’s been 40 or 50 days since she left Earth, and she and Ian are still not entirely comfortable with the Doctor. There’s some irritation on their part at being dragged around by the Doctor’s whim, but his questing this time has a deeper purpose. The soundtrack here is notable, giving a kind of a new-series feel when the companions think about home and what their travels mean.
