This short trip is read by Stephen Critchlow, who does an excellent Fourth Doctor, so that makes this one special. It’s also on the long side for a Short Trip at 35 minutes. That gives enough room to tell a full story, one full of timey-wimey and paradoxes, where the Doctor and Romana come in on the end and have to work their way backwards. The baddies don’t leave much of an impression, and you wonder if maybe this would have been better if expanded somewhat. There’s no particular reason that Romana I is in this story; it really could have been any companion.
