With this TARDIS crew, it makes sense to include some Movellans eventually. Although I think the best thing about Movellans is their striking visual, the characters do a pretty good job of describing them on audio, so it works out. And this time around, it’s just Movellans, with no Daleks around, although creating a weapon to win the Dalek war is part of the Movellans’ motivation. Unfortunately, they crash-landed just south of London around 1 AD, and weren’t uncovered for 2,000 years. These Movellans no longer have the weakness of deactivating when somebody pulls their power pack off their belt, which was a silly flaw to start with, and means we don’t have to endure any slow-motion deactivations on audio. In fact, this story gets a lot of mileage out of the fact that Movellans generally, and one in particular, are much stronger than humans. There’s still not a ton of peril going on, but it’s a decent enough story.
