Unlike a lot of Short Trips, this one has a full flashback that takes place here. Adric is thinking about when they ran across a derelict ship at the edge of a black hole in E-Space, and insights he got into the Doctor and Romana’s relationship at that time. Honestly, it’s rather more insightful than you would expect from a teenager, especially one who’s bad at reading social cues. It’s also rather worshipful of both Time Lords, as Adric desperately tries to prove that he belongs. Matthew Waterhouse does a decent job narrating, although his Fourth Doctor kinda sounds like David Warner.
