This later Short Trip is still fairly vignettey, without a bad guy as such, just a guy messing with things he shouldn’t be messing with. It’s a nice piece for Sarah, though, as it starts in her own era, at a jumble sale, a tradition Sarah is quite fond of. Writer Paul Salamoff has Sarah’s mannerisms down perfectly, especially when she leads a fellow on for information, and then immediately drops the act once she has what she wants. Steven Critchlow narrates, and as usual, does a fantastic job with the Fourth Doctor’s lines. Finally, this story gives the origin of the TARDIS hatstand, which I’m reasonably sure no one has ever asked about.
