Oddly, Victoria is in this story, but Jamie isn’t, not even in the TARDIS scenes. The Doctor turns up at a high school science fair attended by a boy named Sherman, who has created a theory of time travel that nobody understands. Of course, because this is a Doctor Who story, he’s got it mostly right, and when the Doctor fills in the rest for him, paradoxes ensue, causing havoc. It’s mostly absurd, and Sherman is a reference to the “Sherman & Mr. Peabody” cartoons, as are several other names. As long as you can sympathize with a teenager who thinks he’s smarter than everybody else (and he is), you’ll be fine.
