This is an extremely short Short Trip, only 17 minutes. There’s not really time for much of a plot -- the Doctor is investigating the Piltdown Man phenomenon, and of course it’s alien, not a hoax. H.G. Wells is along for some reason, and the Doctor drags him into a very brief visit to an alien culture. Hugh Ross is the narrator for this story, and doesn’t do a great job of portraying the Second Doctor, especially not when contrasted to all these Frazer Hines stories. Placement of this story is annoying, because the Second Doctor seems to be alone, which he never was, so Craig Brawley has placed it here.
