Placed here because Ace is still carrying Nitro-9, and the Doctor is still manipulating her without consent. This Short Trip is also a full story, rather than a vignette. While on a mission to bring peace between two warring factions on a planet, Ace accidentally becomes host to a parasite that will destroy the planet if she dies or leaves in the TARDIS. It’s good character development for Ace, but a lot of it is simply farfetched, from the world-ending parasite to how easy it is to get both sides of an entrenched civil war to talk. Again, the concept is fine, but this seems to want to be a longer story than it is.
