This is another vignette, with the Doctor and Ace interfering with a doomsday weapon, stopping it before it goes off. The Doctor gets one of his “moral high ground” speeches, which means that Sophie Aldred needs to put on her Doctor impersonation for quite a long stretch, but it’s halfway decent. Between the speech, the lack of Benny, and no mention of Ace’s military background, this might go better in or around Season 26.
