This story is just a little vignette, about some aliens called shreeves, shapeshifters who eat electricity, hide on Earth, and are generally laid back about the whole thing. Ace and the Doctor get involved to stop a human from exploiting one of the shreeves for criminal purposes, and that’s about it. Benny isn’t around, but Ace’s military bearing is mentioned, so perhaps it goes here. There’s a tiny cameo from the Brigadier, which is nice enough.
