This one is just a ton of fun, with tons of high concept and word-play, worthy of a Steven Moffat story. It introduces Nobody No-one, the Word Lord, and his CORDIS, which has actually been in the background for the whole anthology. This story, and Nobody’s other appearance (“A Death in the Family”) are the only Big Finish stories written by Steven Hall, which seems a shame, because his imagination seems incredible. And Nobody is far too good of a character to be confined to a single one-part story, which is likely why they bring him back again. As a character, he’s delightfully cruel, with some cracking dialog -- he points out, accurately, that the Doctor is far too accustomed to yelling at people with guns and never getting shot. A cracking story.
