This release is part of a boxed set simply called “The Eleven,” featuring the Sixth Doctor and Constance. (Not to be confused with the Eighth Doctor story of the same name, which also features the character known as the Eleven.) This story introduces the planet Molaruss, where the natives mostly have two distinct personas, and have mild discrimination against “mono-minds.” There are even institutes where one can go to help your personas get along better. The Eleven has somehow acquired a wife, Miskavel, who has brought him to the institute so that he can get rid of some of his personalities. Although she seems like the innocent victim in all of this, her motivations and manipulations aren’t entirely clear. The Doctor and Constance don’t really seem to have a whole lot to do in this story, as it seems to be mostly setup for later.
