Constance gets another story set around WWII. It seems to start with the Doctor trying to show Constance the positives of the post-war era, but instead ends up in Germany during the later part of the war, when the English are doing the bombing. That’s enough of a mind-bender for Constance, but of course there’s also an alien involved, one that eats light during blackouts. The story is told first-person, which is unusual for Short Trips, but Miranda Raison has a lovely voice as Constance, so it’s easy to hear a story read by her.
