This is a multi-Doctor story, split between the Sixth Doctor in the first half, and the Seventh in the second half, so I’m only listening to half of it here. It’s also a sequel to “Project: Twilight,” with the Doctor discovering a cure for Cassie Schofield’s condition, but the TARDIS prevents him from arriving any sooner than two years after they’d left her. In the meantime, Cassie has joined the Forge, and the Doctor and Evelyn discover that Nimrod is still around and running the place. He takes a very genial attitude toward the Doctor; when he explains the purpose of the Forge, the whole scene is very similar to Yvonne Hartman showing off Torchwood One to the Tenth Doctor in “Army of Ghosts,” released a few years later. This half of the story has a complete ending, and concludes with Evelyn being very upset with the Doctor, which leads into “Arrangements for War.”
