The Sixth Doctor and Flip

Philippa “Flip” Jackson was a bit character who appeared in “The Crimes of Thomas Brewster,” and later reappeared to become a proper companion. She’s very much in the mold of a typical companion, a contemporary young woman with a sense for adventure and an outgoing attitude, making her very similar to Lucie Miller, and therefore to Rose Tyler. By this point in his life, the Sixth Doctor had mellowed enough that he didn’t run roughshod over her like he did with Peri.
