This one isn’t written by a classic series author, but it has the same slower pace as the previous two, with Flip and the Doctor separated for most of the story. Much of the plot revolves around the Indian Space Agency, and they’ve got actors with appropriate accents (as far as I can tell), so that’s a nice touch. However, the story is a bit all over the place, with lots of talk about space junk, an Irish administrator making a power play inside the space agency, a not-very-bright robotic scavenger ship sent by aliens, and a 400-year-old prince and his girlfriend somehow in the mix. Flip is awfully courageous once again, but she makes an effort not to be reckless. Unfortunately, things don’t work out for her, and she ends up in the worst danger she’s been in yet, which leads to the Doctor doing an awful lot of shouting. There’s not really a lot in the way of “villain” or “monster” in this story, so it’s mostly just drama surrounding Flip. She does get to interact with Anjli Mohindra, who played Rani Chandri in The Sarah Jane Adventures, and apparently they’re friends, which comes across in the story. Ultimately, the story leaves Flip on a heck of a cliffhanger, which is an interesting way to end this segment of the project.
