This Subscriber short trip extra has an actual plot and a villain to defeat, and is a bit lengthy at 40 minutes, but it’s not a particularly complicated plot. Mel has somehow talked the Doctor into taking an anger management class in Pease Pottage, over his clear objections. Of course, it’s not just a simple class, as there’s an alien siphoning off anger for its own purposes. Fortunately, the Doctor sees through this rather quickly, and resolves the situation in a rather predictable manner. The only surprise here is some insight into Mel’s personality, in which she reveals that she’s aware just how her bubbly attitude comes across.
