This story sees Peri trapped in a Jane Austen holo-novel, and the Doctor needs to get her out. However, there’s something more sinister going on here, and eventually other novels from that period are brought in and mashed up. It’s basically an excuse for the Doctor and Peri to face off against Mr. Darcy, Alec d’Urberville, and Heathcliff. Kudos to Philip Bretherton for playing them all with distinct voices.
