This story, by Alice Cavender, is more of a full story than recent Short Trips usually are, with the Doctor and Peri investigating a mystery, traveling around, temporary companions, and unfortunate deaths of minor characters. Central to the story is the rather odd conceit of the ODIN megastore, a rather obvious IKEA parody that squashes local culture by creating a local mania for Scandinavian culture, which seems a bit silly, and at odds with the seriousness of the threat. The Doctor’s solution is reasonably clever, but the ending feels a bit rushed.
