Placed here because Mike has a prominent role. This one is a bit high-concept, but Short Trips are good for that. The Doctor, Jo, and Mike investigate an English village in which probability seems to have gone a bit haywire, and discover some plants with the ability to affect quantum possibilities. That requires quite a bit of exposition on the Doctor’s part, so it’s a good thing that Tim Treloar is performing this story. His narrating voice sounds more than a bit like the Doctor, and his version of Jo doesn’t sound a bit like Katy Manning, but you can’t have everything. It’s a nice little story, if one that requires your attention.
