This is one of the bonus short trips, specifically the one that comes out around Christmas. Unlike most, though, this one actually is a Christmas-related story, with the Doctor, Liz, and Benton trying to cobble together a Christmas luncheon while they’re the skeleton staff on duty at UNIT HQ. However, a hole opens in a field outside, and a blizzard comes out, along with some other strange phenomena. The team investigates, the invasion turns out to be somewhat low-key, and science wins the day. Stephen Critchlow narrates, and does a remarkably good Third Doctor. His Benton isn’t quite so good. It’s a nice story, very appropriate as a Christmas treat.
