Katy Manning reads this story, although Jo doesn’t appear in it. Instead, she uses a Scottish accent, narrating from the point of view of a young boy whose family owns a rental cottage in the Highlands that the Doctor likes to stay at. Although the boy only interacts with the Doctor once, the Doctor mends his bicycle tire and also introduces him to a lizard-like ambassador from Cobaltis, which is certainly enough excitement for any young boy. It’s just a vignette, as these early Short Trips often are, but a nice one.
