Brian's Coaster Journal

I became a roller coaster enthusiast in November 2016. Although I'd been a casual rider before that, in the years building up to 2016 I started keeping up with industry news, perusing websites, and watching enthusiast YouTubers. That day in 2017 marked when I started behaving like an enthusiast: visiting parks specifically for their coasters, counting my credits, and even joining a couple of enthusiast clubs.

In 2017, before my first coaster-oriented family vacation, I started keeping this journal. I wanted to record my thoughts about each visit, to help me retain memories, which might otherwise blur together. Eventually, I went back and filled in memories of trips before 2016 as best I could. I'm presenting this list in reverse chronological order, so that the fuzzy memories stay at the bottom. But also, my ability to write about a coaster experience has improved over time, so the further back you go, the more amateurish (or "GP") my writing is, and the more prone I am to making stupid assumptions.
