The Buzzed Bars Coaster Club formed sometime in 2020, I think, and started their “Stumble” trips in 2021. Since it’s a club focused around coasters and beer, it didn’t seem to be my speed. However, a lot of the coaster folk I follow on Twitter had joined, and the photos indicated that they were having a very good time, so at the very tail end of 2021, I signed up. This marked a major change in my coaster habits, as for the past several years I’d either gone solo, or with Carole (no longer a big coaster fan) or Doug (limited on time because of his other commitments). Going with a group, and a group of enthusiasts at that, changes the dynamic.
