2025

It took a while before I got my first 2025 credit, or park visit, for that matter. I ended up with four business trips in April and May, and the first three were disappointing, coaster-wise. In Austin, I wanted to get Fiesta Texas, at least, but I was busy on the weekend, and it was too early in the year for it to be open during the week. In Denver, we were so close to Elitch Gardens that I actually led a walk to go look at it, but it was still closed during the week. I wasn’t about to extend my visit by a day just so I could ride a Boomerang and an SLC. In Portland, I could have gone to ride Adrenaline Peak, but Oaks Park has changed from per-ride tickets to general admission, and I was not about to pay $45 (plus parking) for a single credit. So by the time I got to Phoenix for my company off-site, I was willing to do some very dumb things for credits.
