The Time of the Doctor

TV Christmas Special 2013

Aired: 25 December 2013

The Doctor spends hundreds of years on Trenzalore in the town of Christmas. Finally explains the Silence, introduces the Church of the Papal Mainframe, restores Gallifrey, and grants the Doctor a whole new regeneration cycle. It’s a lot. The Eleventh Doctor goes out not with a bang, but a killer speech, just the way he’d have wanted it.
