Although this story is included in the Fourth Doctor era, the frame story takes place here. Narvin and Leela are in a battle, Leela gets hurt, and Narvin tells her a story to keep her awake. It doesn’t have much impact on the overall story, but Narvin uses it to illustrate that he’s changed a lot since meeting Leela, become a more moral person, and he has a great deal of respect for Leela as a result.
