This Eighth Doctor story is meant to be an extensive multi-Master pileup, and the scenes in which Missy is in the room with the War Master and the Bruce Master shine. That's probably because the other two are among the more sane Masters, so Missy can be as chaotic as she wants without getting upstaged. The War Master is rather unimpressed, though. The rest of the time, Missy drags Helen around on a quest, not entirely unlike how she treats Clara in "The Witch's Familiar."
