Last of the Time Lords

TV Series 3, Episode 13

Aired: 30 June 2007

The Master starts this one off having achieved almost everything he's ever wanted. The Doctor is at his mercy, he's subjugated humanity, and he's preparing to conquer the universe. Of course, when the Master gets everything he wants, he turns cruel, petty, and short-sighted. Which does as much to defeat him as the awesomeness of Martha Jones. This Master is so petty that he refuses to regenerate when he's dying, just to spite the Doctor. He'll be back, though.
