This one is properly a Fifth Doctor story, but for the Eleventh, it takes place here. The Eleventh Doctor turns up at the end of the story, because the Fifth’s shenanigans happened to take place in Victorian London, so the Eleventh noticed. The Fifth Doctor is in a bit of a sulk, having left Nyssa, Tegan, and Marc behind for their own safety, and the Eleventh is in a monumental sulk after losing Amy and Rory, so there’s a parallel here. However, it’s the Fifth Doctor who gets inspired, not the Eleventh. He’s played by Jacob Dudman here, thus making him the only modern Doctor to appear in a Main Range story, and the only one to be recast.
