The Tenth Doctor and Martha

Martha Jones, my absolute favorite companion of the modern series. So smart! And capable – she saves the Doctor’s life three times in her first story! The only modern companion to leave of her own volition until Ryan! And she absolutely rocks a leather jacket. However, Freema Agyeman has had a stellar career since leaving the show, starring in Law & Order UK, Sense8, and New Amsterdam, all of which has kept her pretty busy, so she hasn’t had much time for Big Finish. After one appearance in Torchwood, she recorded The Year of Martha Jones, which takes place during the “year that never was” in the middle of the Series 3 finale. Unfortunately, that means we've got no stories (yet) with David Tennant and Freema Agyeman together.
