This one stars David Warner as an alternate Third Doctor, who is exiled to Earth in 1997, meaning there were a lot of alien incursions in the 1970s that he wasn't around to stop. Also features Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier (now retired) and some chap named David Tennant as Colonel Brimmicombe-Wood. This version proved extraordinarily popular, getting a sequel within this series, but also popping up again over the following decades, up until David Warner's death.
