The Ninth Doctor and Rose

Now we reach 2005, and the beginning of the modern series proper. It took a long time for Big Finish to arrange for Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper to appear together, so there aren't too many full-cast inserts in this section. Because Rose is around until the regeneration at the end of the season, there’s no more room for solo stories. There are some gaps that can be exploited, though, and Big Finish has done a reasonable job of stuffing stories into the cracks. The Doctor of these stories is a bit less world-weary, a bit less hard, and having Rose along opens him up even more.
