A Requiem for the Doctor

At this point, Big Finish had given up on having River try to tiptoe around the Doctor’s older incarnations, and she just interacts with him directly, for an extended period. This is more River’s story than the Doctor’s, but he does get to be fairly sharp and action-oriented. River relates a little differently to each Doctor, but she seems to have basic affection for the Fifth, probably because of his similarity to the Tenth. The ending is perhaps a bit contrived, but Jac Rayner and Alex Kingston really sell it.
